Castle View is a family owned business that have excelled in partnership agreements for over 50 years. Founded by Frank Bell in 1964, business grew to the point of having over 8000 people at 1400 locations and, in addition to having projects the length and breadth of the UK,  completed projects in Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Tunisia.

Documenting a history of achievement

The main goal of developing the new Castle View website was to document the achievements of the company alongside the other companies it owns. While Castle View has an incredible history of winning contracts, having a new website that documented this legacy was a missing element. 

Mentor Hub PWA

The Mentor Hub is an example of a Progressive Web Application. This allows for a large part of the Hub to be stored locally on the Mentor’s device but, unlike deployment through traditional app stores, allows MCR Pathways to roll out changes instantly. Additionally, users will be able to opt in for push notifications directly on their devices.

Mentor Hub Forums

The Mentor Hub has integrated forums (both local and national) which allows for the creation of dialogue between mentors – sharing the success and challenges they’re encountered on their journey. These forums allow for knowledge transfer between experienced mentors and less experienced mentors, further facilitating the delivery of quality mentoring without the need of direct intervention from MCR Pathways. The forums replace a Facebook Group which, while active, suffered from being on an external platform.

Mentor Hub Resources

One of the technical foundations of the Mentor Hub is the ability to restrict content on a local authority level – this allows for particular resources, forums and courses to either completely localised or rolled out on a place-by-place basis.

Mentor Relationship Manager (MRM)

In addition to having everything in one place for the Mentor, we also developed software that allows school-based Pathways Co-ordinators to manage all their mentoring appointments in one place.

Additionally, the MRM software sends out email notifications and reminders regarding the Mentor’s weekly feedback to increase conversion rates.

Full Digital Branding Suite

It’s common for agencies to provide companies with a website and a new logo but to get Fresh Fish Daily off to a great start we needed to put in the research too.

By performing a comprehensive keyword analysis we began to understand the consumer demand for seafood in the UK. By performing a competitor price analysis we helped George inform his pricing and delivery strategy for the launch.

By researching the technology, branding and social media strategies of George’s competitors we bult a blueprint for him to succeed online in the way he thrived offline. 

Analytics Reporting

Great SEO requires research and the first port-of-call for Catherines was a detailed historic analytics report. This report provided a deep-dive into historic visitor behaviour to the website and helped identify patterns of behaviour, trends, and demographics.

This also allowed Catherines to identify the sources of traffic to their website that offered the best return on investment. For example, by identifying the locations that customers were visiting from, Catherines gained an understanding of where best to spend on localised advertising.

Competitor Report

The next stage for Catherines was a Competitor Analysis Report. By gaining an understanding of the digital strategy of three primary competitors, Catherines could enhance their own online approach. By identifying which keywords competitors were targeting, what technologies they used, what their social media strategy was and which products or services they prioritised, Catherines gained a real understanding of their market.

Keyword Report

The final report we delivered for Catherines set the record for the biggest Epic Keyword Analysis Report we had done. By researching a whopping 925,000 keyword combinations we gained as close to a complete insight as possible into the search trends in Catherines’ industry. Don’t get us wrong – a lot of those combinations yielded no searches. By performing such a thorough review, we could action a new SEO strategy with complete confidence.
